Violeta in the Labyrinth exhibition reflects the creative process that takes place from when the artist Violeta Lópiz is offered to illustrate a traditional tale until, after 7 years of work, she manages to finish it, publish it in the US and be selected by The New York Times as one of the 25 best illustrated albums of 2021. La verdadera historia de la rata que nunca fue presumida (Libros de las Malas Compañías, 2020) , illustrated by Violeta and written by Ana C. Herreros addresses the issue of domestic violence through the fable.
