Comic author and illustrator. She also works in the advertising field. After graduating at Fine Arts University of Valencia, she did a specialization degree in creativity and art direction. Later she gave up advertising in order to concentrate on comic and illustration. She currently lives in Murcia.<\/p>\n

Her work has been recognized in several competitions, she has received the Special Jury Prize at the III Creacomic Contest<\/strong> (2010); the Gr\u00e1ffica Prize<\/strong> (2016) and she was nominated for the Best work by a Spanish author published in Spain in 2018 at the Barcelona Comic Fair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Lives in Berlin and Barcelona, where she dedicates her time in various illustration projects as well as ceramics and printmaking.<\/p>\n

Cristina has published more than a dozen picture books around the world. Her illustrations have been selected twice at the Bologna Children\u00b4s Bookfair<\/strong>. In 2011 and 2012.<\/p>\n

S\u00e1ez Cast\u00e1n (Huesca, 1964).<\/strong> Studied Fine Arts specialising in Drawing at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He set up in Alicante where he started to work as an illustrator.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2000, he wrote and illustrated his first album, Picopelosplumas y el hombre p\u00e1jaro <\/i>(Ediciones SM). This marked a before and after in the professional life of Cast\u00e1n who decided to focus on the creation of illustrated albums. He followed Picopelosplumas <\/i>with Los tres erizos<\/i> (Ekar\u00e9, 2003); Animalario Universal del Profesor Revillod<\/i> (Economic Culture Fund, 2004); La merienda del Se\u00f1or Verde<\/i> (Ekar\u00e9, 2007); So\u00f1ario o diccionario de sue\u00f1os del Dr. Maravillas<\/i> (Oc\u00e9ano 2008); El peque\u00f1o Rey<\/i> (Ekar\u00e9 2009); El armario chino <\/i>(Ekar\u00e9, 2016)…<\/span><\/p>\n

Jes\u00fas Cisneros (Zaragoza, 1969)<\/strong>. He studied illustration at the School of Art and Art History at the University. He currently lives and works in Mexico as an illustrator and teaches an illustration class part of the Visual Communication degree.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2001, he illustrated his first album,\u00a0El Castillo de Ir\u00e1s y No Volver\u00e1s<\/i><\/strong> (Imaginarium, 2001).

Johanna Benz (Wismar, 1986) In 2005 she started studying book-art and illustration at theAcademy of Visual Arts in Leipzig (Germany). Since 2013 she is working as a freelancer for several magazines and publishers. Johanna Benz is\u00a0 <\/span>committed to do live drawings and performances and is collaborating to big events, conferences and festivals as a graphic recording artist. Her picture-book\u00a0<\/span>Pacho Rada, la l\u00e8gende!<\/em>, realized at the Institut fur Buchkunst Leipzig, won several national and international prices. It was published in March 2015 by Editions Magnani in Paris. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He is professionally dedicated to making illustrations for editorial publications, mostly aimed at children.<\/p>\n

He trained as a graphic artist and graphic designer at the Islas Filipinas National School of Graphic Arts (Madrid) and as an editorial illustrator at the Escuela Superior de Dibujo Profesional, ESDIP (Madrid).<\/p>\n

In 2017 he received the International Illustration Award at the Children\u2019s Book Fair in Bologna \u2013 SM Foundation<\/strong>, after four years in a row being selected for La Mostra<\/em>. The awarded illustrations are now part of the picture book Yokai <\/em>(Fulgencio Pimentel 2017, edited under the name of la Montagne<\/em> in France by Les Fourmis Rouges) which is written together with Carmen Chica. In 2010 he begins developing experimental videogames. Valerio Vidali (Italia, 1983)<\/strong>, graduated in Illustration and visual communication at IED (Milan, 2004). Is an Italian Illustrator for magazines and Picturebooks.
\nHis client list includes the New York Times, The Boston Globes, Il Sole 24 ore, Marie Claire, Enchanted Lion, Topipittori, Planeta Tangerina, Templar, Random House and Candlewick press among others.<\/p>\n

Her illustrations have been awarded in the biennial ILUSTRARTE 2016 GRAN PRIX<\/strong> and in the Korea CJ Awards<\/strong> 2011.
