Lives in Berlin and Barcelona, where she dedicates her time in various illustration projects as well as ceramics and printmaking.<\/p>\n<p>Cristina has published more than a dozen picture books around the world. Her illustrations have been <strong>selected twice at the Bologna Children\u00b4s Bookfair<\/strong>. He set up in Alicante where he started to work as an illustrator.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">In 2000, he wrote and illustrated his first album, <i>Picopelosplumas y el hombre p\u00e1jaro <\/i>(Ediciones SM). This marked a before and after in the professional life of Cast\u00e1n who decided to focus on the creation of illustrated albums. Since 2013 she is working as a freelancer for several magazines and publishers. Johanna Benz is<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>committed to do live drawings and performances and is collaborating to big events, conferences and festivals as a graphic recording artist. Her picture-book<span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Pacho Rada, la l\u00e8gende!<\/em>, realized at the Institut fur Buchkunst Leipzig, won several national and international prices. The awarded illustrations are now part of the picture book <em>Yokai <\/em>(Fulgencio Pimentel 2017, edited under the name of <em>la Montagne<\/em> in France by Les Fourmis Rouges) which is written together with Carmen Chica.
